Privacy & Video Use
Who I work with
PlayCatchWithMe provides video-based baseball assessments for youth players. Because this involves kids and video, I treat privacy seriously and try to keep things simple and clear.
What information I collect
When you submit an assessment form, I collect:

Player first name

Player age
-
Parent/guardian name

Parent/guardian email

Payment details (processed securely by my payment provider)

Any videos you upload for the assessment

Any additional notes you choose to include
I do not ask for your child’s last name in the form.
How your videos are used
Your videos are used only for:

Reviewing your player’s hitting or pitching mechanics

Creating a telestrated video breakdown with voiceover

Identifying key focus points and recommending specific drills
I do not share, post, or publish your videos or images of your child without your explicit written permission.
Marketing and teaching examples
From time to time, I may ask if I can use a short, anonymized clip from your player’s assessment for:

Teaching examples

Website or social media posts

Other educational or marketing materials
This will always be optional. I will only use clips if:

I ask you directly, and
-
You give clear written permission (for example, by email), and
-
I do not use your child’s last name
If you say no, your videos will simply remain private.
Storage and access

Videos and assessments are stored in a private folder and are not publicly browsable.

I use your email address only to deliver the assessment and follow up as needed.

If you would like your video and assessment removed from my storage, you can email me and I will delete them where reasonably possible.
(You can specify an email here, e.g. privacy@playcatchwithme.com or just your main address.)
Parent / guardian consent
By submitting the assessment form and uploading videos, you confirm that:

You are the player’s parent or legal guardian, or you have their parent/guardian’s permission, and

You consent to me using the submitted videos to provide a private assessment for your player.
If you ever believe videos were submitted without appropriate permission, please contact me and I will remove the content.
